My Woman, My Love

This page might come under the category of never say never. I never thought I would find a woman like Vanessa. This is an internet success story. We met online. Knew each other for a year online, spoke on the phone several times, then finally met. After she came down, the next day we took a little vacation. We headed towards Virginia Beach, VA. Vanessa fulfilled a 30 year dream of mine, by driving the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. After spending the night in a motel, we fulfilled a lifelong dream of Vanessa's which was to swim in the ocean. We bought a swimsuit for her (her first) and in she went. Now she can never get enough of the ocean. After that we headed to North Carolina. Our original destination was Cape Hatteras, but it was still closed due to the hurricane of that year, so we stopped our trip in Nags Head, where she took another dip in the Atlantic. Before heading to Nags Head, we stopped at the Wright Brothers Memorial on Kill Devil Hill, Kitty Hawk, NC. It was a religious experience for both of us.

By the time Vanessa and I headed back to Northern, VA we had fallen in love. Later that week I proposed. After events I won't go into, we decided to relocate to Florida. We packed everything and never looked back.

Update: On Saturday night, April 22nd 2006, Vanessa and I finally got married. We got married at our Temple in St Petersburg. It was smaller than Vanessa and I wanted, but it was wonderful none the less. Several friends and my sister (who was Vanessa's matron of honor) were in attendance.
